DOULA
Presence, information, and support for your birth.
Your body knows how to give birth.
Information and support help build trust.
Conscious support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with an evidence-based approach and deep respect for your process.
WHAT DOES A DOULA DO?
Being a doula is not about directing your birth.
It is about supporting your process.
I am here to:
Provide clear, evidence-based information
Help resolve doubts without judgment
Prepare you for a real birth experience (not an idealized one)
Support you emotionally
Remind you of your strength when fear arises
I do not perform medical procedures.
I work alongside the clinical team while respecting their roles.
My role is to support you.
Birth as it truly is

Frequently Asked Questions
When is it recommended to hire a doula?
Ideally, during the second trimester so we have time to prepare and build a trusting relationship.
However, I can also support you if you are in later stages of pregnancy.
What happens if you attend another birth at the same time?
I work with a professional backup system to ensure that you are always supported by someone trustworthy and aligned with my approach.
Can I have a doula if I plan to give birth in a hospital?
Yes. Doula support is completely compatible with the hospital environment.
I work respectfully alongside the medical team while focusing on your emotional and physical well-being throughout the process.
Does my partner also receive support?
Absolutely. Your partner is a fundamental part of the process.
I offer guidance and tools so they can support you with greater confidence and calm.
Do you support planned or necessary cesarean births?
Yes. Support is also valuable during a cesarean birth, as I continue providing emotional support, clear information, and presence before, during, and after birth.
What if my birth plan changes during labor?
Birth is dynamic.
My role is to help you understand what is happening and support you through any decisions you may need to make, always from a place of information and respect.
